Participants organize their own journey to the island of Palawan. The recommended point of arrival is Manila, followed by a domestic flight to Puerto Princesa, on the island of Palawan.For the connection in Manila, it is recommended to allow a comfortable transfer time, ideally between 3.5 and 4 hours.The group will then meet in Puerto Princesa, where Pierre de Vallombreuse will welcome participants at the airport. The following day, the journey continues towards the south of Palawan. On the way, a stop will be made to purchase essential supplies (food and mosquito nets) before reaching The Valley, where the immersion will take place over the following days, in the heart of an exceptional natural environment.Participants will then spend several days immersed in the jungle and rice fields, combining photographic work, encounters, observation of the territory and guidance from Pierre.For the return journey to Puerto Princesa, departure by van will take place in the morning, with arrival scheduled for early afternoon. Participants may either spend the night in Puerto Princesa or take a direct flight back to Manila.Those who wish may also choose to extend their stay in the north of Palawan, around the beaches of El Nido, famous for their diving spots. Spending a few extra days by the sea, enjoying grilled fish and the island atmosphere, is undoubtedly a wonderful way to end the adventure.

From the moment participants arrive at our workshop location, the workshop fee includes accommodation, round-trip transportation by van, as well as the photographic and educational guidance provided by Pierre de Vallombreuse throughout the entire workshop.Meals are not included and remain the responsibility of each participant. The workshop is open to participants aged 15 and over.Minors may take part only if they are accompanied by a responsible adult for the entire duration of the trip. Participation is not possible for children under the age of 15.For participants under 18, additional documents may be required before departure, including parental authorization and the necessary travel documents.

No, particular level of fitness is required to take part in the workshop.Participants simply need to be comfortable walking for around two hours in total throughout the day. The pace will be adapted to the group, and the focus of the workshop is photographic rather than physical.

Yes. Participants should plan for a personal budget to cover meals not included in the workshop, drinks, souvenirs, clothing, any travel outside the programme, a local SIM card or eSIM, tips and any unforeseen expenses.

It is possible to purchase a local SIM card with internet access, so you won't be completely cut off from your loved ones.
